Controlled socket outlets for an increasingly smart home

Controlled sockets are among the most requested devices when it comes to making a home electrical system smart.

Using the Type 13.21-B000 Multifunction relay in conjunction with Bluetooth technology and the Wi-Fi network – you can turn devices that are not smart, into devices that are!
For example, it is now possible to use your smartphone to remotely control one, or a number, of standard floor lamps within your home – without invasive home renovation. This is achieved by making the socket outlets remotely controllable by interfacing them with the new Type 13.21-B000 16 A multifunction relay, the latest addition to the YESLY range from Finder.

Thanks to the volt-free contact and the 16 A capability, this product fits perfectly in the context of commercial and residential systems, where it is particularly suited for interfacing with other circuits relating to controlled sockets, or with electric locks (thanks to the DE – 2 second pulse timing function).

Technically, a controlled socket is an electrical socket outlet that can be controlled remotely via a smart system, and as such can supply or remove electrical power to an appliance or equipment, according to the needs of your application.

For example, you can install a controlled socket where you need to control a specific light point in the living room (floor stand type) or in the case of controlling a household appliance, and you can do this even when you are away from your home.

To make a socket a controlled socket all you need to do is to interpose the volt-free contact (terminals 11 and 14) of the Type 13.21-B000 between the power source phase line (L) and the socket phase terminal. (Ensuring the 13.21-B000 has power to its L and N terminals.)

Once the controlled socket and the Type 13.21 multifunction relay have been installed, you can manage the device connected to the controlled socket from a smartphone via Bluetooth technology or Wi-Fi network, or via wireless buttons as well as via the Google and Amazon voice assistants.

Through the free Finder Toolbox Plus app, available for Android and iOS systems, you can set functions, sequences and timings from 1s to 24h, as well as associate wireless buttons. And with the Finder YESLY smart home system app the end user has the ability to manage their loads and their home in an ever smarter way.
