Efficiency, reliability and quality with Finder’s new 6K Series contactors

In industrial processing, being able to rely on reliable, safe and quality components is a prerequisite for achieving operational efficiency.

Finder’s new 6K Series industrial contactors meet the needs of a wide range of industries and are used within power-generation panels, in industrial motor management, in control and distribution panels, and in many other applications.

The 6K Series includes Types 6K.04, 6K.14, and 6K.13 industrial contactors, all of which comply with IEC EN 60947-4-1. Features include compact size, and AgSnO2 contacts (which are particularly well-suited for high inrush currents). All models are available with current ratings from 9 to 74 A, AC3 400V, and power ratings from 4 to 37 kW, AC3 400V.
The devices can be panel or 35 mm rail (EN 60715) mounted.

The devices have a nominal voltage of 24, 110 and 230 V AC, and 12, 24, 48, 60, 72, 110 V DC (except Type 6K.13 50 and 74, which are AC only), with an ambient temperature operating range of – 40° C…+ 90° C.

The contact circuits, depending on type, can be configured as follows:

• all NO
• 3 NO + 1 NC (auxiliary 2 A AC15)
• 3 NO + 1 NO (auxiliary 2 A AC15)

In addition, you can single or double-pole front auxiliary modules in various configurations.

The Type 6K.T0 thermal protection relay can be used with Type 6K.04 industrial contactor, and the Type 6K.T1 thermal protection relay can be used with Types 6K.13 and 6K.14 industrial contactors. Both models have IP 20 protection and AgNi contacts, and 1 NO + 1 NC contact configuration.

They also feature:

• Adjustable threshold
• Reset button (Type 6K.T1) – manual or automatic.
• Stop button
• Adjustable pin spacing (Type 6K.T1 only)
• Auxiliary contact terminals
