BoxUp is a state-of-the-art self storage warehouse which opened in 2009 in the province of Milan. A place to store all sorts of stuff.
The challenge
SECURITY WITH MAXIMUM AUTONOMY
BoxUp’s need was to illuminate all spaces independently, as and when required, to allowing customers to move safely and autonomously.
The solution
THE FINDER 18.11 TYPE MOVEMENT AND PRESENCE DETECTOR
The installation of Finder’s Type 18.11 movement and presence of detectors in every aisle and parking area allowed for optimal lighting management, avoiding the manual on/off switching of lighting throughout the entire building.
Around 400 movement and presence detectors were installed, which allowed considerable energy-savings.
