Localiza is one of the largest companies in the sector of vehicles and fleet rental, used car sales and franchising. The new headquarters was built inside an area of 63.000 m2, where a large building with glass facades allows to make the best use of natural lighting.

Finder, in collaboration with Mingrone Iluminaçao, contributed to the building’s energy savings by providing the presence and movement sensors of the 18 Series, for an innovative and intelligent lighting concept.
In order to obtain adequate lighting throughout the building without wasting energy, it was necessary to install intelligent devices that would allow automatic lighting control, depending on the presence of people in the various rooms . The energy efficiency intervention also included the optimization of the lighting system.
The movement and presence detectors of the 18 Series have made it possible to check the presence of people inside the rooms. The dimming kit made it possible to complete the efficiency improvement of the lighting system in the various rooms of the building.
