Finder’s Type 12.B2 time switch is the ideal choice for anyone looking for a Bluetooth device capable of managing full-year timing functions.
Schools, public lighting, retail outlets and automation systems (such as irrigation) are just a few application areas where installing the Type 12.B2 can really make a difference.
For example, in a school, you’ll be able to program the bell to ring on only certain pre-determined days of the year, taking into account term times, weekends and school breaks. Similarly, for apartment buildings and properties in a sub-division, you’ll be able to set the activation of the irrigation system during certain periods.
You can therefore set this ‘astro’ time switch annually, avoiding the need for periodic reprogramming of the device.
The Type 12.B2 is designed to be installed in an electrical enclosure or consumer unit, while the Type 012.BG wireless GPS antenna – that, using Bluetooth 5 Long Range, constantly synchronizes the device – is designed to be installed externally.
One of its distinctive features is programming via the Finder Toolbox app, which allows all parameters to be managed intuitively and quickly, without having to be within touching distance the device.
What’s more, in addition to the three functions currently available on the Type 12.A2 time switch (i.e. On/Off, Astro ON/Astro OFF, Pulse), further functions have been added to the Type 12.B2 time switch, (i.e. Astro Pulse, Random, Cyclic and Dynamic Astro Offset), some of which can be configured – as well as the app – via the joystick.
As well as the two output terminals, the outputs can be expanded via Bluetooth using up to four additional Type 13.21-B electronic relays. You can also use up to four Type 1Y.P2 input interfaces to manually switch the time switch channels, by-passing programming, with up to eight additional inputs (including toggle, force ON or OFF status and staircase light).
Here are the main features of the new Finder annual astro time switch:
– 2 changeover 16 A
– Expandable via Types 13.21-B and 1Y.P2
– Synchronizable via GPS
– Manual programming
– Bluetooth 5 Long Range
– Configuration via the Finder Toolbox app
